The Farm:
Puttocks Farm is a working arable farm of 117 acres set in peaceful surroundings on the outskirts of the lovely market town of Great Dunmow and only 8 miles from Stansted Airport. Until 2003 we raised beef cattle but now our only animals are our chickens and cats. You can take a walk through the country lanes, keeping an eye out for the deer and muntjac that regularly pass through the farm.

Great Dunmow is a delightful, small town steeped in tradition. It is home to the ancient ‘Flitch Trials’, which date back to the year 1120 and is situated in the Uttlesford District, which was voted as offering the best quality of life in a Sunday Times survey. With gentle rolling hills, open countryside, quiet country lanes and attractive villages, it provides a lovely contrast to the nearby cities of Cambridge and London.
