What’s The Trick?
Now it’s time to pull back the curtain and reveal some of the tips to this chrome process...
One essential part of the process is the chrome spraying gun, which is responsible for depositing the metal. This gun is fully adjustable and has two separate outlets for each of the two chemicals required for the reaction. These chemicals are mixed on the surface of the part, along with 99-percent distilled water acting as a carrier agent. The mixing happens at a ratio that's just right for creating a metallic chrome finish. This finish is incredibly thin, even thinner than a sheet of paper.
Silver Nitrate
The ultimate in chroming, our intuitive Compact Chrome Machine is used to apply a coat of silver nitrate for a perfect mirror finish. Available in an unlimited range of colours.
Wet Paint
This method involves spraying metal surfaces with liquid paint, allowing for a wide range of colours and precise colour matching. Ideal for projects requiring a thinner coating or where heat-sensitive materials are involved, Wet Paint provides a smooth, even finish without the need for curing ovens. Though it may take longer to dry, the flexibility in colour options and the ability to apply multiple layers make Wet Paint a cost-effective choice for both simple and complex coating needs.
Powder Coating
This advanced dry finishing process uses electrostatic spray deposition to apply a resilient coat, ensuring a flawless, long-lasting finish. Perfect for both functional and decorative purposes, Powder Coating offers unmatched resistance to impacts, moisture, and extreme weather conditions. Available in an almost limitless array of colours and textures, it’s the ideal choice for those seeking a tough yet visually appealing finish that stands the test of time. Environmentally friendly and cost-effective, our Powder Coating delivers exceptional performance for any project.
