After a successful career in the licence trade with JD Wetherspoon's, Michael moved into the security industry in 2001 setting up his own company and successfully acquiring Portal Security in 2011. He now oversees the whole Portal Group with a very much hands-on approach.

Declan Goldie
Operations Director
Declan’s employment began in 2014, another acquisition from the licence trade after gaining a degree in Management. He has brought along his learned retail skills and has implemented systems that have streamlined our organisation. This has helped massively with the transition from traditional man guarding to modern technologies. He initially joined the company as Operations Manager and has since been promoted to Operations Director. He became a shareholder in 2018.
