Anzac Autographs in the book of Norah Carter 1919 - A Chickerell Nurse

Daniel Moss has very kindly supplied us with these images from an autograph book dated 19th June 1919 that belonged to a nurse at Monte Video Camp, containing a number of signatures of Anzacs awaiting a boat back to Australia. We would be very interested to hear from anyone who has a photograph or further information on the soldiers listed below. The dates below are of Embarkation and Return to Australia (RTA) taken from the Nominal Roll. Norah’s address was 4 May Terrace, Chickerell on 19.6.1919. In the 1911 census, she was at the same address, aged 10 & born Chickerell:

Pte. Sidney Talbot 1341(692) 17th Bn. Joined 26/2/1915 at Liverpool NSW aged 28. He was a Carpenter, married, born at Wolverhampton, England. Embarked Sydney per ‘Themistocles’ on 26/2/15. Adm. Hospital on Malta 2/11/15 & rejoined unit 18/2/16. 17/3/16 Joined BEF in France. Next record on 1//4/18 he was in England given leave to learn Pattern Making in Wolverhampton. 16/1/19 transfd to AIF HQ in London- non military employ. 6/7/19 in Weymouth. 1/11/19 Discharged from AIF in London. No record that he returned to Australia.
