Are you insured?
If you are insured for the consultation, Spire will normally ask you for your Insurance details. Please provide your:

AN AUTHORISATION CODE FOR THE CONSULTATION.
Occasionally this information is not passed to Dr Reece or his secretary so you may be contacted to confirm the details. Dr Reece will usually bill your insurance company directly.
Do you have an excess on your policy?
If you have an excess on your policy, your insurance company will usually advise you of the shortfall you still need to pay. Dr Reece will also invoice you directly for this amount.
Are you uninsured and self-funding?
If you are 'self-funding' Dr Reece will invoice you directly for the consultation. You need to ensure you can cover any bills raised for investigations suggested during the consultation (blood tests, x-rays or scans).
Current Fees
Dr Reece's new patient/new problem consultation fee is normally £250.00 and is usually a 30-minute appointment.
A longer appointment (usually by arrangement) will be charged accordingly.
A follow-up appointment is usually 15 minutes and is normally charged at £200.00.

Credit Card
We do not accept Credit Card payments. However, if you wish to use your credit or debit card you can pay through PayPal. Please advise us and we can send you the details. But please be advised that there is an additional fee for using it based on PayPal's merchant pricing structure. We will add this to your invoice at a rate of 2.9% of the fee PLUS 30p per transaction.
Please note we do not accept credit card payments directly over the phone.
If you gave your Credit Card details to Spire Bushey Hospital, that is to guarantee any hospital-based charges for equipment, medicines, investigations, blood tests or scans done by them which are charged directly by Spire and are separate to my consultation fee/s. We cannot use these details to take payment for the consultation.
