A popular little Leyton restaurant serving informal Portuguese food.

It's been an east London fixture for more then a decade now, with the family behind it partial to a warble or two – there's live music on Friday nights.

Food remains the focus, though. The majority of the menu is Portuguese, with dishes including calamari, a wide range of gourmet starters like smoked mackerel with peppers, pork belly with pear cream, sardine loins in vinaigrette, grilled octopus with olive oil and vegetables, grilled king prawns in a piri piri sauce and Bacalhau - a signature Portuguese dish of salted cod grilled served with vegetables and drizzled with hot onion and garlic olive oil.

‘Cataplana’ consisting in a mixed fish stew with prawns, clams and mussels. A must! Unmissable!

A premium pipping hot seafood rice with prawns, clams and mussels.
