Event Medical Cover
Throughout the UK, Acorn Medical Services can provide both male and female staff to your event, fully trained in all aspects of pre-hospital care to support you, your staff and visitors.

No matter what size your event is, we can provide highly qualified staff who have a wealth of experience in providing medical cover for both small and large events. Whether you need only a few First Responders or a whole team including paramedics and doctors, you can be sure your event will run smoothly and legally.
Where your event is of a size that a Paramedic be in attendance, we have teamed up with CQC registered industry partners, who can provide a fully crewed response Ambulance should the worst happen. For those events taking place near open water, we can also provide fully trained water rescue medical Responders to support our 'dry' staff.
As an added bonus for organisers using our services, we will let you use our fully licensed 2-way radios completely free of charge during the event. (The rule is, if you break it or loose it, you buy it!)
Once you have instructed us to provide your medical cover, we will prepare an Event Medical Plan both for your files and to aid any pre event discussions you have with your local Safety Advisory Group. This EMP will show in detail exactly what we are going to be doing for you, your staff and visitors.
All the work we do is undertaken in line with industry best practice, as well as working to the relevant sections (mainly Section 5) of The Purple Guide.
Following the endorsement by the Institute of Licensing Endorsement, of the Purple Guide as the go-to guidance for outdoor events, all organisers are actively encouraged to sign up.

First Aid Training
Our First Aid courses are designed to give you the skill and confidence to provide urgent care to someone with an injury or life threatening condition.
Our 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work course provides learners with a solid foundation on which to build their First Aid skills. Training can be done at your place of work or in our training centre. And from as little as £65 per person. Over 16's only. Maximum class size is 12.
