Whatever the event, Acorn Medical Services can provide both male and female staff, fully trained in all aspects of pre-hospital care to support you, your staff and visitors.
Our treatment centre is fully equipped to deal with a wide range of on-site medical emergencies.
For larger events and in line with the recent changes in The Purple Guide, which is now suggesting on certain sized events that a Paramedic is used in addition to the First Responders, we have CQC registered industry partners who can provide a fully crewed response Ambulance.
Once we been instructed to provide cover to your event, we will not only work closely with you at the planning stages, but prepare an Event Medical Plan, which will show in detail exactly what we are going to be doing for you. This can be used during your discussions with SAG (if applicable).
All the work we do is undertaken in line with industry best practice, as well as working to the relevant sections (mainly Section 5) of The Purple Guide.
Following the endorsement by the Institute of Licensing Endorsement, of the Purple Guide as the go-to guidance for outdoor events, all organisers are actively encouraged to sign up.

Our First Aid courses are designed to give you the skill and confidence to provide urgent care to someone with an injury or life threatening condition
Our Emergency First Aid at Work course covers the following subjects:

We are a Qualsafe registered training centre and deliver the Emergency First Aid at Work course from as little as £75 per person. This fully certificated course is ideal for anyone coming into contact with members of the public, work colleagues, customers or indeed anyone in need of medical attention.
