I am a cognitive behavioural therapist and also a hypnotherapist using Hypno-CBT®. Cognitive behavioural therapy, when combined with hypnosis, is a really powerful and effective way to change your habits, thoughts and feelings.

 

Some people just want therapy, some are looking for hypnotherapy and others want a mix of the two. It's 100% up to you what you feel you need. What is hypnotherapy?

When it comes to hypnotherapy, we don't talk about 'putting you in a trance', it isn't anything like what you may have seen on stage or on television. In hypnosis, you are fully aware, alert and completely in control at all times, in fact hypnosis is very much something you do yourself and I just guide and teach you the skills.

 

Most of the therapeutic work is done outside of hypnosis but we use it to practice and rehearse coping skills in certain situations using relaxation and imagery to bring about lasting change. It's what makes this technique so powerful and one of the quickest forms of therapy you can undertake.

I offer online appointments at your convenience and run regular evening and weekend clinics in Llangarron and in Newent for those who need an 'out of hours' appointment.
