hear brian interviewed about being a net co2 'taker-outer' here (18 mins.) nissan leaf still going strong. took us to the beach at southwold for family swims 25 times this year. we had the usual ski holiday + holidays in ireland and cornwall. oh and brian went to california to work with teens and their families in san diego & san francisco. while there he had a week of holiday with his 2 brothers, friends and family. a simple, inspiring & luxurious life.
brian & amy have offset their lifetime emissions previously with carbonneutral.com and climatecare.org
we still export our electricity to ecotricity and use their renewable electricity product and green gas product.
water: 44.33 cu. m as a family & business (40.48 litres per person per day)
brian also 'offset' his lifetime water usage with water aid after investigating cost of projects at drop 4 drop website.
landfill: 26.49 kg as a family & business (8.83 kg per person)

solar thermal provided hot water for 8 months+. we reckon we get about 3/4 of our hot water from the tubes on the roof. wonderful.

my old employers at autocar tested the model s against the aston martin rapide. they consider it makes the aston "look really, really old-fashioned." (and it beats the aston in a straight line race after giving it a head start!)
