Exhibition by David Bachmann at Plowmans in support of the Great Ormond Street Hospital
The partnership was very excited at the prospect of having a charity exhibition of David Bachmann's paintings at our Practice. The exhibition was held in May-July 2014. More details and paintings below.
Thanks to the generosity of our patients and friends, and David Bachmann, we raised £6,688 from picture sales and donations.
"David Bachmann is a plein air landscape painter. He works directly from nature, interacting with his subject matter and experiencing the subtle changes of light and weather.
This method of working, which involves carrying his painting equipment from site to site, requires a rapid execution and results in a freshness apparent in the paintings.
He is primarily interested in capturing the harmony that can exist between man and nature."

We were again raising money for the
Louis Dundas Centre for Children's Palliative Care
at Great Ormond Street Hospital, as we have at our
previous exhibitions.
This was our third art exhibition in support of the Louis Dundas Centre; we have now raised a total of £15,855.

London Marathon; 26 April 2015
Duncan Edworthy ran in this year's marathon. He achieved a time of 4hours 10 minutes. He was on track for a much faster time but unfortunately had a cramp attack around the eighteenth mile.
Well done Duncan!
