Across the Field
In May 2013 The Islington Art Society held their Spring Exhibition at The Gallery, Stoke Newington Library.
Guy Robertson is a regular exhibitor at the Society's exhibitions and entered "Across the Field".
Alpine Escape?
In January 2013 Guy Robertson, Graham Bailey, Jack Mirza and Duncan Edworthy joined a small group of like-minded implant colleagues high in the Swiss Alps at Les Crosets. The skiing each day was excellent - with a broad range of abilities as skiiers or snowboaders represented. What, then, was the reason for the trip?
In addition to the skiing there was a serious professional purpose. Research has shown that the combination of skiing and lectures, in combination with 'fireside talks', is a highly effective way of transmitting medical knowledge.
Guy has written an article on his experience, published in the November edition of the magazine Implant Dentistry Today. You can read it by clicking on this link. The article will open as a pdf in a new window; close that window to return to this site.
The trip was an ITI Study Club. The International Team for Implantology (ITI) is a unique network that unites professionals around the world from every field of implant dentistry and related tissue regeneration. As an independent academic association, it actively promotes networking and exchange among its membership. To understand more about the ITI please click on this link.
