Lochana Nanayakkara joined the practice in December 2003. She is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal London Hospital, from where she originally graduated

in 1992.

She has held hospital appointments in oral and maxillo-facial surgery and completed a five-year specialist registrar training programme in restorative dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital, where she also completed a Master’s degree in conservative dentistry in 1998.

She is a fellow of the faculty of dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has given lectures and presentations both domestically and internationally.

She has served on Council at the Royal Society of Medicine and is recognised by the General Dental Council as a specialist in both Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.

Lochana has been appointed as the Speciality Adviser in Restorative Dentistry to the Royal College of Surgeons and the representative for western Europe for the dental committee of the World Federation of Haemophilia.
