In May 2008, Ashley and one of his coleagues form the Chidlren's Emergency Department at Watford General Hosptial published at article in the Paediatric journal, Archives of Disease in Childhood. This research was reported on Internet news and science sites across the world and in the daily newspapers in the UK.
