We stayed here for just a couple of nights in July on our journey to Arna. We didn't get the best out of the site because the sky was very overcast while we were there so we didn't do a lot of sunbathing!

Le Colombier is a large site - 125 acres - in the southern Vendée. It has several fields for tents and caravans. It also has tents and mobile homes for hire. The site includes about 35 acres of woodland with several paths running through it and a four acre lake. There is a heated swimming pool and a bar and restaurant.

The electricity towers are spaced well apart, but the site does have a number of extension leads ready to loan out.

A local baker visits each morning.

 

This is a very lively site with many activities organised by the owners.
